Anfernee Hardaway, the former NBA star and current basketball coach, has shared his thoughts on some of the greatest moments in his illustrious career during a recent interview with ESPN.

Hardaway was born on December 17, 1964, and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He played college basketball for the University of North Carolina before being drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the 1986 NBA Draft.

In his rookie season, Hardaway averaged 22.1 points per game, becoming the youngest player to ever lead his team in scoring. He went on to have a successful career, winning two NBA championships with the Orlando Magic and playing for several other teams throughout his career.

In 2001, he led the team to their first playoff appearance since 1988, averaging 24.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game during the regular season. He also hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer in Game 6 of the first round of the playoffs that helped propel the Hornets to the next round.

Despite retiring from the NBA in 2007, Hardaway has continued to be involved in basketball as a coach and mentor. He is currently the head coach of the New York Knicks' G League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks, and has been instrumental in developing young talent within the organization.
